How to apply for a home in North Herts

To apply for housing in North Hertfordshire you need to apply to the Common Housing Register. The register is run by Howard Cottage, North Herts Homes and North Herts District Council and is backed by one Common Housing Allocation Policy. Applications forms can be found in all the partners’ offices. Housing is provided to meet individual housing need and each application is assessed in accordance with one Common Housing Allocation Policy. Applicants are awarded a housing preference band and points in line with their assessed housing need. (Transfer applicants are also included on the Common Housing Register.)
