Dumped rubbish and fly-tipping
If you find bulky rubbish has been dumped in communal areas or on the estate, please report this to us immediately. It is helpful if you know who the culprit is - any information provided to us is in strictest confidence. We will attempt to find out where the dumped rubbish came from and re-charge costs for removing it.
Fly-tipping on open land or the public highway is an offence and should be reported to us immediately, or to the local council who have a duty to deal with it. Please give details of the exact location, the registration number of any car used , identity of offender and when it occurred.
Abandoned/Untaxed vehicles
Untaxed or unroadworthy cars should not be stored on the estate or public highway.
If you spot an abandoned or untaxed vehicle of the estate then please contact our customer services team, with details of where the car is located. It will help us to deal with the problem more quickly if you can give us the make, model, registration number and colour of the car and whether or not the car is displaying a current road tax.
If the car is on the road or public highway then you can also report this directly to the local council.
Communal cleaning
If your block is serviced by a caretaker or cleaning contractor please let us know if you are not satisfied with this service. We want to know if the cleaning has not been carried out well, or needs to be improved.
If there has been an incident and cleaning of the communal area is needed, please contact our customer services team as soon as possible to report it.
Graffiti
We aim to remove graffiti on our property quickly, and will aim to remove it within one working day if it is of an abusive or racist nature.
If you see graffiti on your estate, please report it to our customer services team and we will remove it if it is on Howard Cottage property. If it is not on our property we will report it on to the local council and ask them to remove it. Alternatively you can report graffiti that is not on Howard Cottage land directly to the local council.
