HeCTA (Howard Cottage Tenants’ Association) is an independent group representing residents.

HeCTA liaises closely with Howard Cottage, and has a voice on the Board, to ensure that residents' views are considered and influence decisions to improve housing services. As a resident of Howard Cottage your membership of HeCTA is automatic and free. HeCTA has five main aims which are:

• Campaigning on issues important to residents.
• Seeking others’ views.
• Building stronger communities.
• Organising social events.
• Working for the local community.

HeCTA hold monthly Thursday evening committee meetings at Pioneer House.  Residents can raise issues for discussion and are very welcome to attend meetings and observe the Committee in action.  please call Mike for more information.
