Would you like to get involved?
We’re very lucky to have a small, friendly group of residents who get together every month to help improve the services we provide. Do you fancy joining them?
These days, it’s vital for housing associations to build relationships with their residents based on mutual respect, trust, accountability and transparency. In fact, it has never been more important to listen to the views of residents and communities about the services we’re delivering, which is why we’re very keen to invite you to join our residents’ panel.
HOW DO I JOIN?
The panel meets monthly at Pioneer House on a Wednesday at 4pm – check out our website for details or contact Jon Thurlow, Resident Involvement Officer (01462 683307 or firstname.lastname@example.org). We very much hope to see you there.
“We always welcome your feedback,” said Resident Involvement Officer Jon Thurlow. “When it comes to practical insights and opinions about the quality of our housing services, there really is nobody more qualified than you, the residents who live in our properties. Two new members have just joined our panel and there’s room for more!”
Here are some of the areas that the panel has investigated in the last few years:
- Aids and adaptations
- Resident engagement
- Our website
- Home improvements – kitchens and bathrooms.
If you fancy dipping your toe in the water, you’re very welcome to come along to the next panel meeting. It’s a fantastic way to meet new people, stimulate your mind, learn new things and make a valuable contribution that all residents stand to benefit from. And it’ll look great on your CV!
