GOOD NEIGHBOUR OF THE YEAR AWARD 2010
To celebrate all that is great about neighbourliness, we are launching a Good Neighbour of the Year Award. So if you would like to nominate a neighbour who goes that extra mile to help others, we'd love to hear from you.
Good neighbours offer vital support including keeping an eye on each other's houses, babysitting and taking children to school.
The award is a perfect way to say 'thank you' to a neighbour whose kindness has made a real difference to your life or that of a fellow neighbour who deserves a bit of special recognition. Neighbourly acts of kindness might include things like lending a hand at times of crisis, helping you with your garden, doing shopping for you when you can't, looking after your children so that you can have a break or go out to work or simply just being there when you need someone to talk to.
To nominate a good neighbour simply fill in a nomination form, which is available from the office or in the resources section located on the top right of this page.
Nominations for the 2010 Good Neighbour of the Year Award should reach Howard Cottage by 31st July 2010.
